About the Artist

Judith studied painting and textiles at Cumbria College of Art. She is interested in using colours to give a pleasing and emo- tional response. This shows in her colourful prints, paintings and textiles.

Judith studied art as a mature student but had always been interested in it. When she moved to Cumbria with her husband Pete, she was given the opportunity to study at CCA. This opened up a whole new world. She enjoys looking at art as well as making it. Judith will be exhibiting paintings and prints. She will also be showing small embroidered textile pieces. Her work can be abstract or impressionist. She experiments with works inspired from the garden and countryside. She looks forward to welcoming you to view her work.
