Artists & organisations across Central Scotland host a variety of events in open studios, installations, popup shows, and exhibitions in galleries and community spaces.

Central Scotland's Open Studios and Art Event

Welcome to a newly styled Forth Valley Art Beat for July & August 2021, which this year shifts its focus to the outdoors, encouraging ways to explore the beautiful Forth Valley whilst viewing artworks in response to many unique sites. ‘ArtCycle’ brings site responsive works to Bothkennar Pools, nr Skinflats; Canada Wood, Falkirk; NCN routes between Stirling & Dunblane; and the River Forth, near Stirling, with a series of associated cycling and walking events. Alongside, the regular Open Studios event this year will see 46 artist studios open to the public over the one weekend (10/11 July) with many artists opening up studios in their garden sheds and other outdoor spaces.

Keeping Safe - We are committed to ensuring a safe environment for all those visiting our event. All participating artists are being asked to follow a number of Covid-secure measures to ensure safety and wellbeing for all. We ask all visitors to follow these general guidelines when visiting studios and artworks, enabling it to be as safe a visit as possible for all. Read more here
