Opportunity for Artists

Forth Valley Art Beat and NHS Forth Valley would like to offer visual artists, (including makers, photographers and artists working with digital media) four sites to exhibit, screen, perform or demonstrate their working practice for Forth Valley Art Beat this year:

·      Drawing and painting: the main public thoroughfare in Falkirk Community Hospital

·      Sculptural pieces: the courtyards of Forth Valley Royal Hospital

·      Making and performing: crafts, visual arts, live art:  main atrium  Forth Valley Royal Hospital

·      Photography, digital work, film: new projection wall main entrance Forth Valley Royal Hospital (late night(s) after dark)

Artists will be welcome to spend time in either venue to create new work, develop work onsite or curate their existing work during April and May.

Artists have to be willing to accommodate the constraints of these busy healthcare buildings and practical, technical and logistical support will be provided by NHS Forth Valley and Forth Valley Art Beat.

For more information (and images of the sites) contact [email protected]

Please send your short proposal (up to 400 words) and up to 4 jpg images or a weblink by 12 midnight on 13th March to [email protected]

Call for Artists – Deadline Extended!!

FVAB 2016 booking form is live!

Artists & organisations wishing to participate please sign up by 31st January 2016

If you are keen to participate and don’t have a venue please get in touch as we may be able to help find find something suitable or think about creating a temporary venue – perhaps hiring a community space hall or make use of an outdoor space.   It doesn’t need to be a gallery or studio.  Think of alternative ways of showing what you do and create something different. Offer the visitor an experience….  Please get in touch if you wish to be involved!
