Eco-arts & Cycling Events

A series of participatory art and cycling events that consider our local environments & activate a sense of change in relation to climate awareness are programmed as part of FVAB 2022.

They offer a chance for conversation, connection and the shared act of making through a ‘craftivism’ project (where craft meets activism) and a series of led cycle rides that pair Falkirk with a number of Firth of Forth locations; interweaving coastlines, sustainability, community, heritage and the local.

‘Pledge to the Planet’ with artist Hannah Ayre
Sat 4th June, 11am to 3pm

@Callendar Park Falkirk

Come & visit Callendar Park on Sat 4th June for a great family day out. Walk around the wonderful ‘craftivism’ artworks made with local community groups adorning many of the trees and take part in a number of great activities with Hannah.

Make your own ‘Pledge to the Planet’ by adding to our Pledge Tree, or join in with some playful chalking.

Our climate activity quiz helps you to learn more about the artworks and the climate emergency while receiving some free seeds to grow in your own garden, pot or windowbox.

Join the Bike Bus from Zetland Park Grangemouth at 9.30am, taking a route via The Helix, to cycle your way to the event. Organised by Stirling Active Travel Hub. Book your place here.
