Artists Information
Booking forms will be live via FVOS website from 13th December 2013 to 24th January 2014.
Artists are required to read this Information before signing up for Forth Valley Open Studios 2014.
Artists are responsible for providing accurate contact information, providing an up to date email address and notifying FVOS of any changes to this.
Artists are also responsible for completing their own booking form, preparing and uploading their studio information and images for their entry in the FVOS event.
When completing the online booking form enter all your contact/studio details and complete your artist’s statement (up to 100 words). There is a section for additional information which will only be featured on the website site and app. You can use this section to promote workshops, events or exhibitions you are participating in over the summer.
Upload three high resolution images when completing the booking, two of your artwork and one of you working in the studio. These images will be used for promotional purposes in the FVOS website, iphone & ipad app and FVOS 2014 brochure. FVOS will have the right to use these images for press releases along with social media sites.
Artists will have the opportunity to order and purchase banners, bunting and directional arrows on this years booking form. Please note that three directional arrows will be supplied free of charge, extra arrows are charged at £2.50 per unit, 6ft x 3ft banners are £30 per unit and bunting £2 per unit.
Fees for participation:
Please note the entry fee covers the production costs of the brochure and website design only.
The participation fee will include a 1/3 page feature entry in a colour A5 brochure, directory listing in the brochure and also a full page individual listing on the event website and app. In the past there has been a Showcase exhibition, this is a supplementary event associated with the FVOS event, which is independently financed and free for FVOS participants. Participation fees for the FVOS do not contribute to The Showcase exhibition and FVOS participants are not obligated to exhibit in the showcase exhibition. Nor is this event a guaranteed to be an option.
Rates:
–Individual artist entry with directory listing £90
–Two artists within the same entry, both artists directory listed £110
–Three artists within the same entry, all three artists directory listed £130
–Four artists within the same entry, all four artists directory listed £150
–Five artists within the same entry, all five artists directory listed £170
–Arts venue/club/group/organisation/business/gallery – one directory listing £135
-An additional charge for each artist who wishes to be named in directory £20
