New artwork co-created by patients at Bellsdyke Hospital and artist Sharon Quigley, inspired by patients of over a century ago.

On display at Forth Valley Royal Hospital’s Atrium from 7th August to 1st January, 2016, then at the Art Collection in the University of Stirling’s Pathfoot Building from 23rd January to 27th May, 2016.

Traditional Willow Baskets with Georgia Crook

3rd & 4th Oct 2 day course 10am – 4.30pm

This 2-day workshop will introduce you to the basic techniques for making traditional willow baskets. You will make one completed basket and there will be time to practice the different elements of a basket; the base, weaving techniques and the border.

Annual Postcards from The Line show

The annual Postcards from The Line show has become an anticipated feature of our annual programme and one we enjoy enormously. And 2015 will follow the expected pattern – with somewhere over 30 artists contrbuting over 200 pieces in all media from photography to pencil drawing, from linocut to collage and much more.

This 2-day workshop will introduce you to the basic techniques for making traditional willow square -work baskets. You will make one shopper with a handle or a trug and there will be time to practice the different elements a the basket – especially the square work , weaves, border & handle.
