Camphill Blair Drummond

Opening Times

About the Artist

Camphill Blair Drummond provides a creative and therapeutic environment for both residential and day students with complex learning difficulties.
We will be exhibiting a wide variety of pieces created together in our specialist workshops including glass, pottery, baskets, mosaics, textiles and woodwork.

At Camphill Blair Drummond students can participate in a range of creative and therapeutic workshops. We have a Pottery, Basketry, Craft, Textiles, Woodwork, Estate, 2 Garden workshops, Intouch where we do a bit of everything and a Bakery which is everyone's favourite at tea break times as they supply us all with lovely warm buns and biscuits! We also have Animaltastic with chickens, ducks and pigs as well as a couple of petting rabbits and ponies.
Students, staff and volunteers - local befrienders and co-workers from abroad - all help inspire each other with ideas, and designs. Some students work on projects independently, others may need hand over hand assistance. Some create a piece from start to finish others may dip in and contribute to one specific task.
During FVAB the Intouch Workshop will be open on the 10th and 11th showing work from around our community from glass and textiles to pottery and baskets.

Additional Events

We will be working on a couple of projects while open for the exhibition on the 10th and 11th such as baskets and rag rugs. Visitors are welcome to ask questions and even try out if it is not too busy.
