Judy Reed is the mosaic artist Judyjamjar. A prolific craftsperson for over 40 years she studied stained glass before discovering a passion for all things mosaic!
Inspired by a love of colour and patterns and using a range of materials, primarily vintage and retro china, her mosaics are quirky and original. Many of the materials are recycled including broken plates, glass, tiles and sea-glass. The mosaics range from small decorative hearts and birds to larger wall installations and outdoor sculptural pieces.
Lynne Schroder is an established metal sculptor working mainly in copper but also in mixed media. Her humorous sculptures of birds, animals and people are inspired by a love of the outdoors and the coast. She is co-founder of Creative in Callander, an artists' collective in the town where she lives and works as a community based artist. Lynnes work has been featured in many exhibitions and galleries.
Chris Brodie, artist, makes paintings and mono-prints influenced by the beauty in the natural world. Using texture, silhouette and fine details to create evocative images. Chris studied at Edinburgh college of Art from 1990-94 and is returning to art after a long break.
There will be daily ongoing mosaic making demonstrations in this working studio.
