Nikki is a professional artist who works from her home studio in Falkirk, Central Scotland.
She studied at the Scottish College of Textiles where she gained a BA (Hons) in Printed Textile Design.
Focusing mainly on landscapes Nikki finds inspiration from harbours, cities, villages and towns throughout the UK with a nod to the narrative. Her textile background is still apparent within her work with her love of colour and pattern a strong feature
She layers up a mix of acrylics, inks, oil pastels and charcoal to create a stylized, simplified depiction of her subject.
